Pine Hill is a new condominium development located in District 21 in the Ulu Pandan vicinity with a site area of 22,534.7 square meters (242,561 square feet), and a lease term of 99 years. The bid of S$671.5 million equates to $1,318 per square foot when converted into plot ratios. According to the National Parks Board (NParks), 18km of nature trails will be completed by 2023. There’s a new Jurong Town Hall Park Connector and a new nature trail at the Old Jurong Line (Old Jurong Line Nature Trail) that connects the Rail Corridor to Jurong Lake Gardens. The park also features a new Clementi Nature Trail that will connect the Clementi Forest Stream to the new nature park at the west side of Dover Forest, also known as Ulu Pandan Estate.
This new nature trail (Old Jurong Line Nature Trail) runs along the disused Old Jurong Line that cuts through Clementi Forest. It’s a 4km nature trail where visitors can see the old railway track, tunnels, and bridges of the Old Jurong Line, while minimising ecological impact.
The 62km Coast-to-Coast Southern Trail from Changi Beach to Tuas will be gradually completed from 2024 onwards and will be the longest cross-island trail to date. Additionally, there will be a 3km-long Jurong Town Hall Park Connector. This 7km recreational route connects the Rail Corridor to Jurong Lake Gardens with the Old Jurong Line Nature Trail.
A 2km Clementi Nature Trail will run along the Bukit Timah First Diversion Canal, along with the Old Jurong Line Nature Trail. The rail corridor will connect to the upcoming nature park at the western half of Dover forest, which has been spared development for the medium term because it has a much higher biodiversity than the eastern half. Visitors can walk along the Rail Corridor and Ulu Pandan Park Connector from Clementi Forest stream to Ulu Pandan nature park.
Visitors will be able to circle back to the Rail Corridor with the park connector. By 2023, the Clementi Nature Trail should be open.
